Since decades VERDEX Super-Latexfoam is used as intermediate padding on ironing presses, especially at ironing suit jackets or similar garment.
Although its heat resistance and steam permeability are not as good as those of other interlayers, the latex foam scores with its unmatched point elasticity enabling thicker parts of the garment to sink into the padding at equal pressure for mark-free ironing. Moreover the high density provides an excellent transfer of the pressing effect.

VERDEX Super-Latexfoam is durable against pressure due to its high cubic weight but it has to be protected against heat over 130°C by a sufficient lower padding (e.g. our Vau-Sik Silicone Ironing Pad and V-Max Aramid-needlefelt).
It is now laminated on one side with fleece, which improves air permeability and stability.

The special Voshn-Top Latexfoam is backed with a Nylon-Stretch to improve the resistance towards tension. For this reason Voshn-Top can be used on small machines where the foam is bended and stretched.
Besides the surface of the Stretch backing is excellently smooth.
