All fine wire meshs can be used as final covers on upper press plates. Moreover wire screens are used as steam diffusors and filters on ironing tables and presses.
When pressing delicate garments you should choose a very smooth wire mesh and perhaps use a final layer of Nylon- or Aramid-Stretch.
On strongly vaulted presses we advise to use twill woven wire screen because of its better mouldability.

The Polyester wire screens are stainless and do not heat up like metal wire screens. For this reason they prevent from spots and heat marks on the clothing.
